We’ve all had another year to collect lots of Porsche themed and other treasures for the AUCTION! \n\n\n\n\nDinner will start at 5:30 pm\n\n\n\nBaked potatoes will be provided by Spud Daddy\n\n\n\nBring a SPUD topping (e.g.\, butter\, sour cream\, bacon\, salsa\, cheese\, broccoli\, mushrooms\, guacamole\, chili\, sausage\, BBQ meats\, etc.) OR a salad\n\n\n\nBYOB; Water will be provided\n\n\n\nDress is garage and hangar casual.\n\n\n\nAUCTION! SUMMARY:Oktoberfast Car Show - "50 Years of 911 Turbo"
DESCRIPTION:“50 Years of 911 Turbo” This is the theme of this year’s Oktoberfast Car Show at The Village. 911 Turbo cars will be prominently displayed! \n\n\n\nThe main event of the weekend\, on Sunday\, is the Car Show at The Village at Meridian. The grounds feature European style buildings for restaurants and shops and the internal streets are dedicated to our show (previous year video). All Porsche models are welcome and no\, your car does not have to be “show quality” to enter (daily drivers and grocery-getters are common); just wash it and bring it! Car placement starts at 10:30 am and the show opens at 12:00; you can expect to be heading home by 4:00 pm. Activities for participants include judging their favorite cars\, a poker walk\, shopping and dining. The winner of the People’s Choice voting will be the car featured on Oktoberfast 2026 publications. You can count on trophies for a variety of categories and door prizes. Entry fee is $35 for your primary car and includes a commemorative T-Shirt; additional cars can be entered for $15 (no shirt). Of course you can order additional shirts for $20. \n\n\n\nThis year our Charity is RAYS FOR RARE. DESCRIPTION:Wine tour to support the Silver Sage Region’s charity fund raising campaign for Rays for Rare. Meeting at Porsche Boise at 9:30 a.m. The first stop will be Dude DeWalt Cellars near Eagle; you’ll have a flight of four wines to taste there and if you find one you like\, consider purchasing a bottle to take home. The second winery is Sol Invictus Vineyards\, in Star. This is a wonderful little winery\, where we will be on a deck\, overlooking a fantastic view of the valley. They have 13 wines (4 whites\, 9 reds) and you will be able to choose 5 of them for tasting. We will have a box lunch from Kneaders (menu)\, and you will be able to buy a glass of wine to have with your lunch\, or even a bottle to take home (with a 10% discount). The cost for the tastings and box lunch is $42 per person (includes all taxes and gratuities). \n\n\n\nRegistration starts August 18 and ends September 15.
