August 15-18 – “Big Sky Tour” (East Idaho, Southwest Montana)

A tour with overnight stops at Grand Targhee Resort, Big Sky Mountain Village and Salmon.
Attractions along the way include EBR-1 (the first nuclear reactor in the world to produce useable electricity), the remains of the failed Teton Dam, Mesa Falls, Big Springs (major source of the Snake River’s Henry’s Fork), Earthquake Lake (formed by the 1959 magnitude 7.2 Hebgen Lake earthquake) and Virginia City (ghost town dating to the 1860’s).
Tour is limited to 10 cars.
