SPUDS Auction/Dinner

On Saturday evening, March 29th, “SPUDS!” will be the featured show at the Spuds Dinner taking place at Bob Denton’s hangar at Nampa Municipal Airport. We’ve all had another year to collect lots of Porsche-themed and other treasures for the AUCTION! Here are the details:
- Dinner will start at 6:00pm
- Baked potatoes will be provided by Tower Grill
- Bring a SPUD topping (e.g., butter, sour cream, bacon, salsa, cheese, broccoli, mushrooms,
guacamole, chili, sausage, BBQ meats, etc.) OR a salad - BYOB; Water will be provided
- Directions: From Boise, take I-84 west to Nampa, exit 38 (Garrity Blvd). After exit, turn left (south) under freeway. Continue on Garrity Blvd into town, follow airport signs to 39th Street. Turn left (south) on 39th towards Airport Rd. Go straight across Airport Rd south on Municipal Dr to first parking lot on your left (the Warhawk Air Museum is on your right). Turn left (east) into parking lot and go to the east gate. Call Bob at 208-870-4877 or Gary at (208) 963-1534 and the gate will open. Hanger #2248.
- Dress is garage and hangar casual.
- AUCTION! The funds raised in this event will be used to help fund Silver Sage Drivers Education
events such as skills sessions and autocrosses. Our auctioneers this year will be Robbie Musheno and Sid Cannon. - Registration will open Feb 20 to give us a head count for the SPUDS. There is no charge for this
event hosted by Bob Denton; but you must bring at least one item to auction (see below) and a SPUD topping or salad. - AUCTION! For the auction, please bring your unwanted (but valuable!) item(s). Remember, “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure” but please do not bring items that are better off in a dumpster! All clothing items should be laundered and clean. Suggestions include car-related items, garage art, wine baskets, Porsche collectibles or a favorite dessert for atier dinner sweets. Let’s all start 2025 off with a great time at the Hangar!
